About Us
A few words from our CEO and founder, Darren Morgan.
Firstly - you can trust us
Our management and staff have been around for a very long time. The CEO alone, has 17 years of experience in Healthwatch and Local Involvement Networks. We have served Healthwatch offices, Public Health Departments, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and Service Providers with distinction over a very long period.
Case Study, North East London (NEL): In this part of the country, all eight Healthwatch offices have used the community insights service since 2017. We have processed the experience of 162,365 local people - with 536,048 issues identified. On GP and hospital services, 623 reports and 305 dashboards have been produced. Additionally we analyse areas including mental health, maternity, long-term conditions, children and young people, disabilities, social care and carers (as examples).
How is it funded? There is a match-funding arrangement with the ICB - they pay for the technology and the regional insights, while local Healthwatch pays for their local data and reports. Why does this work well? As well as spreading the cost, it ensures that Healthwatch data feeds directly into ICB Quality, Finance and Analytics Teams - making a real and timely difference to commissioning and oversight.

Secondly - our systems are really good
Our technology is capable of processing large volumes, quickly - this is thanks to many years of development, coding, and work in the field. Integration with Microsoft PowerBi gives us an extra dimension of processing power.
Thirdly - we have a great team
We use a collaborative model, which is very effective. Our partners include Local Voice, North East London Health & Care Partnership, plus various Local Authority and Healthwatch teams.
