It's important to collect local reviews

Every single day, tens of thousands of people leave feedback on Google Reviews.

Hospitals, GPs and Dentists alone receive around 800 comments per quarter (4,000 issues) for a typical Local Authority or Borough area. That's a lot of feedback, and the Community Insights Service captures it all.

Why is this useful? Platforms such as Google Reviews are impartial. Reviewers are not prompted by opening or closing questions, they simply give their thoughts - at that moment in time. This is data we can, and should use.

Other respected sources include nhs.uk (formerly NHS Choices) for primary care services, and Care Opinion for hospital feedback.
