Person-Centred Coding

To process views, experiences and other information, we use a unique 'taxonomy', known as Person-Centred Coding (PCC).
As with other taxonomies, it identifies issues. Unlike other taxonomies, it additionally 'slots the issue' into a care pathway location.
There are eight unique pathway locations (transport, reception, diagnosis/testing, clinical treatment, nursing care, discharge, follow-on, community) and thanks to these, we can follow patients, families and carers through their journey – from admission to discharge, and beyond.
